A simple cooking shown through the form of Stop Motion. The thought behind filming in this format is to show recipes in a quick easy to “digest” format. Showing the steps in succession, I filmed from a tripod pointing down onto the content. Taking photos of each movement and excluding the film of hands. Cooking fresh from raw ingredients can often be a daunting task! This approach with the light hearted soundtrack, has hopefully helped me pull the viewer into a more relaxed frame of mind.

To create stop motion I took photos of each movement of the objects. But I had to ensure that the movements were not too drastic, to help the content flow. Being careful whilst filming around the hob. I had only one chance to cook the food! So I had to be careful to think out the photos before adding in the ingredients. (Take extra care using tongs and protection throughout)
Using iMovie on my iPhone I dropped my photos onto the timeline, then adding in transitions to smooth between the scenes. Music was also added into the project to finish it off.
Showing a vegan alternative will be next! Making this series more inclusive!
